We know from exerience that sometimes a range cooker is needed in a hurry, and are happy to try and speed things up when the need arises. By ordering via a distributor who holds a certain amount of Rangemaster and Falcon stock we can often reduce the delivery time to 7 - 10 days or even less.

Express deliveries will usually be carried out by a one-man delivery crew, and in some cases the driver or team will not be able to bring the goods into your property. You will be advised in advance if this is the case so that you can organise a couple of people to move the range cooker into the house.

Warranties
Please note that the manufacturer's warranty only applies to products used within the UK - sometimes this means mainland UK only. Please check with the appropriate manufacturer prior to ordering.

VAT Refunds
With the exception of the Channel Isles, VAT is only refundable within the EC if you are UK VAT registered. For exports to countries outside the EC VAT is refundable even if you are not VAT-registered. We can only refund VAT once we have proof on file of the product export (e.g. a copy of the shipping mandate).

Packaging Issues
Most freight forwarding companies should be able to handle your range, but we have found that some are doubtful about international deliveries of ranges packed only for UK domestic delivery. You should obviously consider this risk when ordering.

Insurance
Transit damage can occasionally occur, so it may be a good idea to take out additional insurance which covers the whole delivery process, particularly as carriers will often not sign for or accept responsibility for the condition of the goods prior to their reaching them. Product Specifications
The range products we sell are manufactured to UK specifications rather than for export, and are NOT fitted with gas flame-failure devices required in many countries. Responsibility for installing them outside the UK is entirely your own, and you may have difficulty finding someone to install and certify your range.

We can arrange for your range to be connected when it is delivered by the manufacturer, provided that the electrical or gas point is already in situ and of Corgi-standard (as shown on diagram below). This does NOT include moving of pipes or wires, and fees are NOT REFUNDABLE in the event of non-connection.

Sometimes these services are not available, and a fee paid by the manufacturers and ourselves to the Distributor Takeback Scheme (DTS) goes towards the provision and promotion of Designated Collection Facilities (DCF) throughout the UK.

Your local authority will usually provide a collection service for large items, often free of charge.

Recent changes to the regulations regarding Waste Electrical and Electronics Equipment (the WEEE Directive) mean that manufacturers and retailers have a responsibility to provide information about how consumers can responsibly deal with their unwanted appliances. This includes the need to promote:

of collection and environmentally responsible disposal.

>> The consumer's role in contributing to the reuse, recycling and other forms of
recovery of WEEE.

>> The potential effects on the environment and human health resulting from the
