Lockdown 2 - What it Means for Range Cookers

On the eve of the second national lockdown restrictions coming into force over England, we wanted to take a moment to provide an update on what’s going on here at Rangecookers and provide guidance in response to the most common questions we’ve received.

Our showroom remains closed, but the Rangecookers Team is still fully operational and can be reached by phone, email, or online chat. Our telephone lines are very busy at the moment however, so if you have a general enquiry not covered in this blog, please consider email or online chat as we will likely be able to help you more quickly through these means.

Delivery Lead Times
We have seen huge demand across most brands which has had an impact on delivery lead times (see here for an AGA Rangemaster specific update). We have updated the typical lead times for each brand on the individual cooker pages to give you the most up to date information on what to expect. It can be accessed in the drop down Delivery Information menu.

Once you place an order you will be contacted directly by the manufacturer’s home delivery team to provide an accurate delivery date and book you in.

Lockdown Restrictions
The latest government guidance states that manufacturing and delivery are still permitted, and as such we do not expect any disruption to the order and delivery process. Indeed we have not had any indication from any of the manufacturers that they anticipate any impact to their ongoing operations. Deliveries should continue taking place under the same socially distanced guidelines that have been in force for the past few months.
