Bertazzoni....Brilliant! Rangecookers....Excellent!
After having three Smeg ranges over the last 20 years, having to deal with numerous breakdowns and issues along with the associated costs to put them right, I decided we needed to try a different brand. So, I did my research on the different brands available and decided that Bertazzoni was the one. Several reasons helped me reach this decision with price and value for money being number one. As well as performance of the gas hob and oven features. Next was who to buy it from. Bertazzoni are now stocked at a few well known retailers such as John Lewis and AO, as well as a few independent specialist retailers. I chose to purchase from Rangecookers .co.uk. They matched the best price I could find. More importantly on the two occasions I spoke to them they offered me professional, knowledgeable, honest and detailed advice. They also mentioned how good the after sales is from Bertazzoni UK. The Master 90 single dual fuel was also in stock. They gave me an estimated delivery date and informed me that Bertazzoni?s specialist delivery company would contact me to arrange the delivery. Delivery was organised on a day to suit me and the delivery company were one of the very best I have ever dealt with. Professional, careful and polite. They unpacked the range, put the feet on, checked it over, took pictures and allowed me time to check it over - great experience! So, what?s the Bertazzoni range like now that we?ve been using it for a while. It is very impressive. Particularly for the price which makes it tremendous value for money. The thing you first notice is the excellent build quality. Far heavier than the outgoing Smeg which is a good sign. The knobs have a quality feel as do the hinges on the door. Oven has great features, reaches temperature extremely quickly and cooks evenly. The hob is outstanding! The pan stands are high quality and well designed. They also sit close to the burners which makes them more effective and efficient. Cleaning the hob is so much easier than the Smegs we?ve had due to its clever design. The only slight negative is that the oven capacity is not a much as a Smeg. However, there is still enough room to accommodate large roasts etc. Overall we are very much delighted with our Bertazzoni range. I am also pleased that I didn?t stretch to the ?Professional? model, as I would question how much more value you would get for the price difference. So, if you are considering a Bertazzoni range, don?t hesitate! And if you are wondering where to buy a new range from you won?t be disappointed in Rangecookers.
