Autumn's Arrival: Give Your Kitchen An Autumnal Makeover

Autumn is well and truly here and so are the colourful changes to the trees outside. So is it time for a brand new kitchen renovation to update and reflect these beautiful autumn hues? Bringing warmth into your home is important at this time of the year, with our attention turning to inviting friends' round for dinner rather than going out and special occasions such as Halloween and Christmas coming up faster than we realise...

With all this in mind, we want to talk about autumnal colours. Whether it is just a range cooker you are thinking of, or you want to redecorate your whole kitchen, we will be showing you our top picks for the best autumn style for your range cooker to match cabinetry, flooring, paint and other appliances...

Green

Green is one of the most popular autumnal colours and can often be matched with more colours than you'd expect. Sage or olive greens are a great way of bringing the outside in, with the colour green often embodying a sense of renewal and growth. A dark green may seem like a bad idea with us already losing the daylight early in winter, but paired with light coloured appliances brings the colour to life. These kitchens with dark green walls and cabinets match perfectly with the marble worktops, further enhanced by a Rangemaster Classic Deluxe 110 in White with a brass trim. The contrast of the white with the dark tone creates a warm and inviting feel, perfectly complementing each other.

The Rangemaster Classic Deluxe 110 is an upgraded version of the fan-only Classic model, with a multifunction main oven that offers eight different settings and Rapid Response, which helps to get the oven up to temperature 30% faster. There is also a fanned second oven on the top right. Both ovens are A-rated for energy efficiency and there is also a dedicated grill with a glide-out grill tray. The Deluxe 110 also features a proving drawer below and an enhanced multi-zone hob, helping to make this traditional range cooker all the more modern.

Oranges and Browns

Burnt orange is a classic autumn colour. This trend is revived year after year, reflecting the colours of the season including pumpkins and candlelight. The warm tones of orange and brown create such an inviting feel, with this kind of decor scheme making sure your kitchen feels cosy. An autumn inspired rich brown and bold orange palette can be hard to get right but with so many different shades of each colour, there are plenty of options. These tones can be matched with either light shades such as cream cabinets, wooden worktops and ivory appliances, or dark appliances such as a charcoal black range cooker.

One of Lacanche's best-selling range cookers, the Cluny Classic 100 Induction has an aesthetically pleasing symmetrical configuration and offers two ovens, along with ample storage in the form of twin storage drawers. This particular model features a five-zone induction hob, a 55 litre static electric oven and grill and a 49-litre convection (fanned) oven with grill. In either shade Maron Glace or Terracotta, this range cooker is a sleek and traditional way of creating a warm, vintage style space.

Grey

You may feel like you see enough grey outside when it is the colder months, but grey inside your kitchen can help your appliances and other kitchen features to stand out. Tone is important, with warmer greys creating a slightly different vibe to a bluer grey. Grey is a style that has been on trend for a while now and shows no signs of disappearing. It can easily be accessorised and matched with shots of colour, whilst also using two different shades of this calming colour to create a subtle contrast. Matching very light grey hues around the room with a dark blue range cooker is a good way of creating this contrast without the same colour, with the AGA Masterchef in Dartmouth Blue making a perfect addition.

The Stoves Richmond Deluxe in Chilli Red is also a great way of adding a pop of colour to a grey interior. Bursting with features and desirability, the Stoves Richmond Deluxe has a traditional feel to its design but is cleverly balanced to create a contemporary range cooker that shows close attention to detail in all areas. This Deluxe model has a conventional gas main oven, a dedicated variable gas grill cavity and an impressive 83 litre twin fanned oven and grill on the right. The control panel gives you nicely designed control knobs as well as advanced technology giving you a seamless cooking experience.

Reds and Pinks

Red in your kitchen will instantly create a bold and dramatic vibe, whilst pink tells quite a sweet story. Somewhere in between is a perfect way of adding both colours to create an inviting and attractive space in your home. Red is a great hue for kitchen cabinets, whilst a muted pink will be great for the walls along with some pale wood. Similarly, you could choose a red range cooker that will stand out and add an eye-catching block of colour.

The perfect way of toning down a very colourful kitchen, however, is by including stainless steel or grey appliances. This ILVE Torino, matched with the rose gold style décor, creates an appealing but subtle look. This Torino 90 Single 6-Burner Limited Edition model comes in either shades Griggio Lusso, a grey tone with matt black trim, or Matt Graphite. A single cavity range cooker, it offers copious cooking capacity and A+ rated energy efficiency in a smart and refined package. Detailed and designed to last over time, the Torino range offers uncompromising performance from different configurations of the cooktops to a single or twin oven design.
