Like most who will be reading this, the team at Rangecookers have been monitoring the latest government advice regarding the Covid-19 pandemic with cautious concern. It is clear that a pragmatic and proportionate response is required, but one that allows us to do what we can to help slow the rates of transmission.
Our primary concern is the health and safety of our customers and our team members, and beyond that, what steps we can take to maintain the smooth running of our operations. In light of this, as of Monday 16th March we will be temporarily closing our showroom to the public. We realise that this may inconvenience a minority who may have been planning a trip to see us in the near future, and for that we apologise. Our team is always on hand to take your enquiries over the phone, email, or via instant messenger.
As of today we have not received any indication that there may be increases in lead times of any of the brands that we sell. That being said, the build and delivery of ranges is very much a people-driven process so potential future delays would not be unexpected. Our advice to customers remains the same as always; it is always preferable to order well in advance of when you need your range. We will be sure to provide updates as and when we have them.
Finally, we’d like to reassure our customers that we have an experienced team in place with robust contingency plans so that if any of us are required to self-isolate, we can adapt our processes to keep any disruption to a minimum.
