Rangemaster Reimagined: The New Classic Collection
For many, the Rangemaster Classic evokes memories of solid-steel frames, baker-style arches, brass trim and a home that smells of roasting. But whilst the original earned its place in kitchens across Britain, times change - and so do expectations.
Now, the Rangemaster Classic has been reimagined and renewed to meet the demands of modern cooks, without sacrificing the vintage charm. The latest edition doesn't just revive a beloved line; it reinvents it. The new Classic range brings together heritage aesthetics and contemporary functionality in a package that is both nostalgic and forward-facing.

Before we take a look at the newly improved models, here is a bit of a back story of the Rangemaster collection...
The story of Rangemaster stretches back over 190 years, making it one of the longest-standing names in British kitchen manufacturing. The brand's roots trace to Royal Leamington Spa, where William Flavel built the Kitchener range cooker in 1830 - a revolutionary invention that combined an oven, hotplate and grill in one appliance.
This innovation transformed the way people cooked and quickly earned Rangemaster a reputation for quality, durability and practicality. Over the decades, the company's design evolved alongside British kitchens, but its hallmark combination of style and substance remained unchanged.

In 1995, the first dual fuel cooker and the fold away grill all came from the laboratories at Leamington. Then, in the same year, Rangemaster launched its first double oven range cooker, initially intended for limited production but quickly became a best-seller, with other models, such as the Classic, quickly following.
With its arched windows, bevelled doors, and solid cast-iron features, it struck the perfect balance between timeless aesthetic and everyday functionality. The Classic Deluxe line then built on that success, introducing modern conveniences like fan-assisted ovens, programmable timer and sleek enamel finishes, whilst preserving the stately elegance that made the range iconic.
What is new and improved in the 2025 models?
1. Larger, more versatile grill
The new Deluxe flexi-grill offers around 33% more space, giving you room to experiment with everything from full English breakfasts to slow-grilled meat. More grill height settings mean greater control over results - whether you're searing or toasting.
2. Modernised fascia and display
The control panel has been completely refreshed with a cleaner layout, ergonomic rotary dials, and a new white LED display with a built-in minute minder.

3. Self-adjusting magnetic plinth
Rangemaster has added a self-adjusting magnetic plinth to ensure a perfect fit, even on slightly uneven floors or within cabinetry. It's a small touch that makes a big difference in creating a polished kitchen finish.
4. Subtle design enhancements
Signature features like the arched windows and bevelled doors - but branding has been refined with a new Rangemaster logo and slightly softened contours for a more contemporary aesthetic. Whilst chrome and brass trims are carried over from the older models, the new brass has more of an antique finish, which adds an elegance over the brighter, slightly more gold, trim of the past.
5. Improved performance and efficiency
- Eight oven functions, including the new DUO model (fan + base heat)
- Rapid Response technology to reach cooking temperature up to 30% faster
- Hob options in dual fuel, ceramic, or induction, some with signature features like multi-zone and wok cradle support
Choosing Your Model
Rangemaster continues to offer two beautifully designed variations of its traditional range cooker: the Classic and the Classic Deluxe. Both share the same unmistakable styling, but they differ in various features, performance and fine details:
Design & Finish
Classic: traditional look with simpler trim details (only chrome available) but the benefit of the Misty Blue finish - this is not available as part of the Deluxe collection.
Classic Deluxe: enhanced styling with the choice of a brass or chrome trim, plus additional colours such as Slate, Heather and Stone Blue.

Controls
Classic and Classic Deluxe models both feature a new updated fascia with digital white LED display and built-in minute mind.
Ovens
Classic: fanned ovens only included.
Classic Deluxe: multifunction oven with eight modes, including DUO and Rapid Response. Also comes with the choice of a side-by-side configuration, with a slow cooker in the top right cavity, or an offset oven configuration with a proving drawer at the bottom.
Hobs
Classic: standard features such as power boost and automatic heat up on the induction models, double-ring wok burner on the dual fuel models.
Classic Deluxe: bridging zone, allowing you to connect two zones to create a single zone for larger dishes and griddles, plus a removable induction griddle. The dual fuel models come with a semi-integrated griddle, with two ceramic zones underneath.

In essence, the core Classic is ideal for those who love the timeless Rangemaster look and reliable cooking power, while Classic Deluxe is for those who want a little extra luxury - more functions, improved energy efficiency and refined detailing.
