Stoves Colour Boutique is a thoughtfully curated palette of six exquisite shades, inspired by the natural world and, paired with complementary suggested materials, enables customers to confidently choose colours that perfectly reflect their style and space.

"At Stoves, we believe that your kitchen should reflect your personality."

"Think brushed brass accents with deep forest green, natural stone or timber alongside warm clay hues, or crisp white tiles to offset calming coastal blues."

Said to be 'inspired by tones from the beauty of nature but rooted in global interior and kitchen trends', this palette of colours offers a blend of natural landscapes with the functional sophistication of modern range cooking design.

These natural colours complement a variety of materials, allowing the introduction of colour into any kitchen style with timeless elegance.

The Colours...

Midnight Blue

A shade that toes the line between black and the deepest blue, evoking a sense of mystery, sophistication and calm. It is a rich, dark blue that gets its name from the colour of the night sky around midnight.

Whilst it could be mistaken for black in dim lighting, a closer look reveals the blue undertone that sets it apart and the result is a colour that is both dramatic and versatile without being loud.

Symbolism

  • Elegance and sophistication: think of the classic midnight blue tuxedo - a timeless alternative to black that is favoured for its unique but polished look.
  • Stablility: as a darker shade of blue, it inherits blue's calming qualities that is often used in interiors to evoke security and peace.
  • Mystery: the night sky has always been a symbol of the unknown. Midnight Blue taps into that energy, encouraging contemplation and curiosity.

Garnet Red

Rich, bold and undeniably striking, Garnet Red is a colour that exudes confidence and elegance. Named after the gemstone, it lies between deep crimson and ruby as a deep, dark red with undertones of brown or purple that give it a luxurious and earthy warmth.

The stone, and the colour, symbolise strength, vitality and deep emotional grounding. Unlike bright or cherry reds, Garnet Red is more muted, refined and versatile, bringing a dramatic feel but not aggressive.

Symbolism

  • Passion and love: as a shade of red, Garnet Red carries the emotional weight of romance and affection, but in a more mature form like the commitment of lasting love.
  • Power and confidence: garnet has long been associated with warriors and kings, used to bring protection and strength
  • Grounding: with its earth undertones, Garnet Red feels rooted and grounded. It connects the fire of red with the steadiness of brown, making it perfect for those who want to feel both bold and balanced.

Deep Marine

Deep Marine is an elegant, mysterious shade rooted in the vastness of the sea. Somewhere between navy blue and teal, this deep, cool-toned colour carries the weight of oceanic depth and the calm of still water. It is a colour that doesn't shout for attention but draws you in - like the ocean pulling you in.

It is a dark, saturated blue-green tone, often described as a blend of deep teal and midnight ocean. It evokes the colour of the sea when the sun disappears, when waves reflect the twilight sky and sink into darkness. Unlike a standard navy, it contains a greenish undertone that adds warmth.

Symbolism

  • Depth: like diving below the surface of the ocean, representing thoughtfulness and reflection.
  • Calm: blues are known for their calming properties, and Deep Marine amplifies this with a grounding green element, symbolising balance and resilience.
  • Sophistication and strength: its muted, shadowy nature gives it a strong, but elegant presence.

Twilight Blue

There is a moment in the day when the sun dips and the sky shifts into a mesmerising blue. That is what Twilight Blue captures.

More than just a colour, Twilight Blue is a mood, a beautiful pause between light and dark. It carries a poetic charm that is both modern and timeless. It is softer than navy and less intense than a royal blue, sitting somewhere between that brings a sense of serenity.

Symbolism

  • Calm and contemplation: like watching the sky fade to night, inviting you to slow down, breathe and reflect.
  • Mystery and magic: there is an enchantment in this shade, a sense of creativeness.
  • Balance and transition: Twilight Blue represents the in-between shift from day to night, from clarity to softness and from activity to rest.

Anthracite Grey

In a design world that is focused on understated beauty and timeless appeal, Anthracite Grey has emerged as a quiet powerhouse. Sleek, smoky and refined, this versatile colour sits between deep charcoal and soft black, offering a bold alternative to standard grey tones.

Named after anthracite coal, which is known for its dense, shiny, near-black appearance, Anthracite Grey is a dark grey with a subtle blue and cool undertone. It is darker than traditional greys but softer and less striking than black - bringing the perfect balance between warmth and modernity. It adapts perfectly to different materials, whether matte, metallic or textured.

Symbolism

  • Modern and minimalist: Anthracite Grey is a go-to in modern design for its clean, streamlined appearance. It lends a contemporary edge to any setting without being overwhelming.
  • Timeless and neutral: unlike trend-driven colours, Anthracite Grey is timeless. It is a neutral that feels stylish in both classic and contemporary spaces.
  • Versatile: this shade plays well with virtually every colour palette - from bold and vibrant to soft and muted, it acts as a strong foundation for other colours in the space to shine.

Ice White

Crisp, clean and effortlessly sophisticated, Ice White is more than just a neutral. With its subtle cool undertones and radiant brightness, it brings the stillness of fresh snow, the sparkle of frosted glass and the serenity of early morning light.

Leaning slightly towards blue or silver, distinguishing it from warm whites or creamy neutrals, this shade reminds you of freshly fallen snow. It is not a stark medical white, it is softer, smoother and subtly luminous.

Symbolism

  • Clarity and cleanliness: Ice White signals precision and order within the kitchen.
  • Peace and tranquility: its cool undertone creates a calming effect, making it ideal for serene spaces and mindful design.
  • Luxury and minimalism: Ice White is frequently used in modern, high-end environments where less is more. It allows other design elements to shine without distraction.
