We have an exciting new competition here at Rangecookers.co.uk and it is one you certainly do not want to miss. DeLonghi have announced this week that they are giving away a free weekend stay and cooking class for two in Tuscany!

Tuscany is a region in Central Italy, with its capital, Florence, being home to some of the world's most recognisable Renaissance art and architecture - and is not too far away from Treviso, where DeLonghi was born. Like all Italian cuisine, Tuscan cooking is often made using the most fresh and simple ingredients of the seasons, including cheeses, vegetables and fruits. Typical dishes are based upon what is found fresh and locally at the market that week, making them often very easy to prepare and involving few ingredients...

What is the prize?

The prize is a wonderful weekend for two in Tuscany, Italy. It will award two people with one weekend in Italy, including a two-night stay at a host B&B in Tuscany as chosen by ELBA Cookers UK Ltd.

This will include a cooking class on a DeLonghi Vintage using local produce, allowing you to enhance your skills for your very own appliance. The winners will also be able to attend a local wine tasting session, with Tuscany being home to some of the world's most notable wine regions. 

A return flight from London to Pisa, and a transfer to/from the airport at Pisa to the B&B is all cared for, plus one guided tour to Siena - a city in central Tuscany that is recognised for its medieval brick buildings.

 

How do I enter?

To enter this amazing competition, there are four simple steps:

  1. Buy a DeLonghi Vintage range cooker, either online, over the phone or in store
  2. Follow DeLonghi Cookers UK on Facebook/Instagram
  3. Take a photo or short video of your favourite recipe using your brand new DeLonghi Vintage range cooker, using the cooker hob/ovens
  4. Post on your Facebook/Instagram with the two hashtags #delonghicookers #tasteoftuscany 

Make your recipe as interesting and imaginative as possible (this will definitely get you brownie points). Unleash your creativity with this sweet (or savoury) opportunity and show just what you can do with your new appliance.

Which cookers are eligible?

To enter you will need to have purchased a cooker from the DeLonghi Vintage range. The DeLonghi Vintage style looks perfect within a modern, classic or shaker-style kitchen. It combines sleek, stylish aesthetic with high build quality to create a reliable range cooker that is great value for money.

They offer a subtle nod to the past with charming design details and finishing touches. Available as a single oven cooker or with two and three cavities, these Vintage range cookers are all dual fuel, meaning gas hobs and grills with electric ovens.

Complementing the retro brushed steel control knobs, and matching handrails, is a choice of colours including white and burgundy. All are 90cm wide and make a perfect addition whether you have a smaller space or a larger room.

DeLonghi Vintage 90DF Single in Burgundy

This single cavity model brings the classic appearance in a compact size, whilst still offering power and well-considered features. The large A-rated oven offers eight different fanned and conventional cooking functions and a grill. 

The oven is coated with a special easy-to-clean vitreous enamel, making cleaning this cooker a dream. The fan is also protected by a thoughtful fat filter. This particular model is available in Stainless Steel, Black, Burgundy and Slate.

The impressive specification continues on top, where the Vintage style hob includes five gas burners with a powerful 3.5kW triple flame wok burner and cast-iron pan supports. The hob is made from a seamless sheet of stainless steel, continuing to ease your cleaning.

 

DeLonghi Vintage 90DF Twin in Slate

This model continues the charming aesthetic, but with slightly more space in the form of twin ovens. The A-rated main oven on the left offers eight different fanned and conventional cooking functions, plus includes an integrated grill. The second oven is conventional, and includes a very clever Rotisserie element in addition to another grill. The rotisserie element is ideal for cooking the perfect, succulent meat, evenly cooking whole chickens and other meats.

The impressive specification continues on top, where the Vintage style hob includes five gas burners with a powerful 4kW triple flame wok burner and cast iron pan supports. The hob is made from a seamless sheet of stainless steel, continuing to ease your cleaning.

DeLonghi Vintage 90DF 3 Cavity in White 

This triple cavity model combines all of the popular elements of the other two models, but this time brings a handy separate grill compartment. This includes a grill pan on telescopic runners, all for safe and convenient operation when cooking.

The A-rated main oven on the left has eight different fanned and conventional cooking functions, including fanned, fan-assisted, defrost, slow cook and fanned grilling. The second auxiliary oven is tall and fanned, making it perfect for those bakers out there or for batch cooking. 

The impressive specification is once again continued on top, where five burners with a powerful 4kW triple flame wok burner. The wok burner is particularly useful for stir fries and when cooking casseroles or curries.
