The extra width allows the Select 70df2 to feature a five burner gas hob which includes a powerful central triple-ring wok burner and single-handed ignition. The Select 70df2 features two ovens - a 53 litre fanned programmable main oven and a 35 litre conventional top oven with variable electric grill. The top oven can also be used with base heat only - ideal for crispy pizzas! Both ovens are A-rated and double-glazed with removable inner door glass, and the main oven also features a left-hinged side opening door. Note: the steel upstand to the rear of the hob is there for safety reasons and can be removed only if you have a non-combustible surface behind the cooker (steel, glass, tiles).
Like the rest of the Select series the design is pleasingly clean, crisp and modern, with metalised control knobs, stainless steel t-bar door handles and cast iron pan supports. The rear upstand is there as a heat-shield but can be removed only if fitting the optional stainless steel splashback to the wall. NOTE: the rear design of this cooker makes running pipes behind it difficult - call us for further information.

Great Little Cooker
Our Select 70 arrived last week we're really impressed with it. The separate grill comes in really handy and the main oven is very large for a cooker this size. Five burners on the top more than satisfy our needs and the with full width pan supports are great. The controls are also easy to use and the doors close with a reassuringly solid feel too. All-in-all, a great little cooker.

Fits the bill
We had been looking for a replacement 70cm wide cooker for a while, it seems than most manufactures don't do them, so we were delighted when we found this one. Not only did it fit our gap perfectly, it looks great and is good quality too!

Good cooker but noisy fan
This cooker looks great and is a good size for those who don't have room for a larger range cooker. The controls are easy to use and the oven cooks evenly and consistently. My only quibble is that the fan is very noisy and runs on after cooking for quite some time. I would give the cooker 5 stars for everything but the fan, which I really find quite intrusive. I don't think the product would suit an open plan kitchen or dining kitchen for that reason.

Superb cooker
Really good cooker, superb use of hobs. The only problem I encountered was the rubber from around the top cavity kept getting caught when opening and closing grill door. I got sent a new rubber seal from Bigblue and it's working ok now.

Highly recommend this cooker
The oven cooks and bakes really evenly. The grill gets hot very quickly and the 5 rings are really spacious. It's really a perfect cooker, in a great size!

Limited choice did not limit the quality
Finding a 70cm wide cooker is a problem. We wondered whether the limited choice would result in limited quality. This wasn't the case with our Rangecooker. Five rings is one more than we were used to. It's very quiet, which makes a change from our old cooker. A very welcome change and good service! Being able to see the cooker in Chester was a bonus, too.

The star in my kitchen
This is a fabulous cooker, I have the single oven model. I thought it would be hard to keep clean but it's not - very solid build, oven cooks great and the 5 burners are all sturdy for pans of all sizes. My only quibble is the knobs along the front are slightly out of line, but it more than makes up for it in looks, quality and ease of use. Thank you!!

Does the job
We were a bit limited in the size so we had little choice. But this is a great cooker. Sturdy and cooks well. The service was great too. Really helpful when we thought we might have problems with installation.

Great so Far!
Got this oven a couple of weeks before Xmas and my wife was concerned the main oven wasn't big enough for our usual turkey that can feed an army. No need to worry though, turkey went in fine and cooked to perfection. The top oven also coped well with all the extras. The cooker is so far living up to all expectations, my only issue is the cast iron pan supports don't seem to be wearing that well, but more time will tell.
